From retirement: When the rehabilitation began, the individual was retired, mainly on a disability pension. As a rule, rehabilitation measure costs do no include statutory workers' compensation insurance contributions, which are paid mainly for periods of work try-outs. The share of the workers' compensation insurance contributions of the total rehabilitation costs was less than 0.5%. The figures for rehabilitee's background cannot be added up since an individual may participate in more than one rehabilitation period that start in the same year. The precision of rehabilitation costs has been changed from euros to 1,000 euros. The change was made for the whole time series on 31 May 2022. Symbols used in the table:
